Data protection policy

We take the protection of your personal data in the use of our websites seriously. This Data Protection Policy contains details of what data we collect in the context of your use of our websites and how we use and protect such data. This Data Protection Policy applies to all our websites which are operated by PSP Management AG on behalf of PSP Swiss Property AG or its group companies (hereinafter “PSP”).

Data collection

You may use our websites without actively disclosing any personal data. An active disclosure of data is required in order to handle your requests or concerns. This occurs, in particular, when using contact or registration forms (e.g. in order to provide information or ad-hoc notifications) or if you get in touch with us via the email addresses provided on the websites. The data disclosed by you may, for instance, refer to your person, your company or your employer, and your role and position therein. Information collected may include title, first name and surname, address, telephone number and email address and any other contact details and information.

We collect the personal data during the use of our websites in order to generally achieve the objective for which the data was disclosed, and the data is used in the context of the information services and other services registered for by you, to process your requests and concerns and, where applicable, for purposes of getting in touch in this regard. The data may be stored and used for purposes of technical administration required in that regard and, where applicable, transferred to the relevant internal departments, group companies or service providers engaged by us.

Cookies

Certain data regarding you is collected automatically and/or passively during the use of our websites. We use cookies and other tracking technologies, e.g. pixels, beacons, tags, Adobe Flash technology.

Social Plug-ins

On our websites you can share individual content via social networks on the Internet, namely via Facebook (www.facebook.com), based in Menlo Park (California, USA), Twitter (www.twitter.com), based in San Francisco (California, USA) and LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com) based in Dublin (Ireland). The plug-ins are marked with the logo of the corresponding network.

When you access our websites, no data is transmitted to social networks via the plug-ins. This only happens when you actively use the sharing function. We have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and its use. For more information, please refer to the data protection notices of the relevant network operators.

Data usage and passing on of data

The personal data provided by you will be stored for such time as is necessary to achieve the objective for which the data was collected or for such time as is required for legal reasons. Any statutory or official retention obligations are reserved in any event.

Personal data remain with us or with our data processors. In the event of any linked websites of our service providers and third parties, they shall remain responsible for these websites and their content. Please refer to their own data protection policies. As a general rule, the link will be displayed and the link needs to be clicked on separately.

In particular, we link to the website of Homegate AG, 8004 Zurich, Switzerland, in order to present our real properties and rental properties. We kindly request that you refer to the data protection policy of Homegate referred to on that website prior to disclosing your data.

We will not pass on any personal data to third parties unless you have given us your consent or in order for the objective for which the data was collected to be achieved, namely in the context of our business operations, e.g. in order to get in touch as requested as well as in cases where the passing on of personal data is required or necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests or for other legal reasons.

We use Google Maps when presenting our real estate or rental properties to illustrate their location. Simply by accessing websites containing integrated Google Maps, user information is transferred to Google. You can access detailed information regarding the scope and purpose of data collection and processing in the terms and conditions of use of Google Maps, a link to which is included in the map section presented, as well as in the data protection policy of Google (see above under “Cookies”). In order to deactivate Google Maps, you can turn off the JavaScript application in your browser.

Security

PSP employs technical and organisational security measures in order to protect your personal data against manipulations, loss or unauthorized access. Our security processes are constantly adapted to new technological developments. Any data you transfer via our application registration and contact forms are transferred in an encrypted format using what is known as an SSL connection. Please note that, otherwise, any electronic data traffic with PSP takes place by email and/or the internet via an openly accessible, not completely secured network, which is why any non-encrypted data may be viewed and changed by unauthorized third parties. User’s rights

You have the right to exercise your data protection rights at any time and request information on whether and which of your personal data is being processed by us. You may request the rectification, amendment and/or erasure of false information and – depending on the legal basis – the erasure and/or restriction of the processing of your personal data which is stored with us. In addition, you may have a right to data portability and a right to lodge a complaint. As regards personal data that you have actively provided or whose use you have actively consented to, e.g. through the registration or contact form, you also have the right to revoke your consent.
